Sony Just Posted A Bunch Of New Job Openings At Insomniac

Sony Interactive Entertainment America recently posted a few new job openings at Insomniac Games, which could mean a new exclusive is coming. via gamingcentral.com a has made a bunch of new positions available at Insomniac Games, which were announced on Linkedin. The company posted an opening for an audio engineer to work at Insomniac last month, leading many to suspect that something was afoot. Also, with more job openings being advertised this week, it appears that the assertions could be true. The posts of Audio Designer and Senior Audio Designer in Burbank, Los Angeles, are currently being advertised by the gaming magnates. The of the Audio Designer post is as follows: THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY "Creates, edits, and implements game-ready audio of the highest quality for projects. Works closely with the rest of the audio team and maintains a high level of quality and consistency of assets." "Responsible for being an active and key contributor for the creative direction and style for audio assets and workflow processes throughout a production cycle," the Senior Audio Designer reads. "Creates, edits, and implements game-ready audio. Works closely with the rest of the audio team to maintain a high level of quality and consistency of assets." via slashfilm.com Given the above, it may very well be that the next big Insomniac exclusives could already be in the works. According to Colin Moriarty, another Ratchet & Clank game could come out for PlayStation 4 while has already set itself up for a follow-up title. Resistance, an IP that hasn't been relevant since 2012, is also thought to be in contention. There's also VR division at Insomniac currently working on Stormland for the Oculus Rift, so it's unlikely that Sony's looking to hire personnel for a VR game. It's worth noting that Sony isn't looking to send any current Audiokinetic staff over to Burbank to work on whatever it is that's in production and would rather hire new people to assist with the project(s). Of course, nothing is confirmed here, but these listings do seem to suggest that Insomniac could be working on an exclusive or two right now.
